"(RX600, RX100, RX220) Module stop control register can't be set. Any special setting needed "

Latest Updated:06/10/2013

Question:

The module stop control register cannot be set. Is any special setting required?

Answer:

This product has a register write protection function that protects important registers from being rewritten. To perform settings to a protected register, writing must first be enabled by the above function.

For low power consumption, set the PRCR.PRC1 bit to 1 and then set the related registers. However, note that when rewriting the PRCR register, it is necessary to write A5 to the upper 8 bits and an arbitrary value to the lower 8 bits, in 16-bit units.
