Information display of error handling (CS+ Integrated Development Environment)

Question:

I am using the CS+ for CC Integrated Development Environment.
Let me know if there is any other method to handle error messages than reference to the help or user's manuals.

Answer:

In addition to the user's manuals, also refer to our Web site FAQ at the same time.

In the CS+ for CC Integrated Development Environment, a function to search FAQ for message numbers pertaining to output messages and open help was added from V4.01.00.

To enable this function, select the [Search FAQ when the help of a message opens.] check box in the [General - Smart Browser] category in the Option dialog box.

Note that in V4.01.00 of CS+ for CC, when [Online] is selected for [How to Access Help] and the [Search FAQ when the help of a message opens.] check box is selected, either of the search results of the help and FAQ might not be displayed.

In such a case, specify the settings as follows:

- To display the help and FAQ simultaneously
Use the offline help. (From the [Help] menu, select [How to Access Help], and then [Offline].)

- To display the online help
Hide the FAQ. (Clear the [Search FAQ when the help of a message opens.] check box in the [General - Smart Browser] category in the Option dialog box.)
You can search FAQ on the Smart Browser panel. Enter the message number or other required information in the text box, and then click the [Search FAQ] button.
