How to roubleshoot a TraceX installation

This FAQ details some troubleshooting information for installing correctly TraceX on your PC system.


Verifying that the correct installation settings were used.


On the Synergy gallery, there is a notice about the installation requirements for TraceX:


  1. Verify that you have administrative rights on the PC
  2. Execute the setup.exe as administrator, by right clicking on the setup.exe file and choose this option from the pop-up window as shown below:

Note: please do not confuse this with the .msi installer located in the same installation folder

What if the option "run as administrator" is not available?

Contact your PC system administrator to get the proper rights.
