Why doesn't the SSI output pin SSIWS0 work on my S7G2 MCU?

Latest Updated:10/13/2016

What can't I get the SSIWS0 output to work on my S7G2 device?

The SSIWS0 pin is placed on P404 which is one of the pins associated with the VBAT power domain. Unless the VBAT Input Disable is set, the register comes up with VBTICTLR Enable or Disable randomly, which may set P404 as an input only. The solution is to program the VBTICTLR bits to be Input Disable in the pin configuration setting in the configuration window. You can review the attached PDF of the pin configuration logic to see how the VBAT control register enables or disables the associated pin function.
