My serial on-chip debugging emulator doesn’t respond. Why?
Last Updated:05/17/2017
Question:
Why is my serial on-chip debugging emulator not responding?
Answer:
When a serial OCD interface (debugging through a UART/CSI) is in use, the user must handle communications between the emulator and the target device by programming the debugging monitor program into the exception handler. So the switched exception handler address may cause a communication error between the target device and the emulator. For flexible exception handling, we recommend you use an emulator that supports JTAG connection.
