Debugging program re-writing on-chip flash memory_RX

Question:

I am developing the program of the RX family. How can I debug the program re-writing the on-chip flash memories so that I can check flash memory values?

Answer:

Specify the following settings to debug the program re-writing the on-chip flash memories.
This allows you to check flash memory values in the Memory window after switching to ROM read mode in the user program.

For CS+ (formerly CubeSuite+):
1.    Open the [Debug Tool Settings] tab from the [Debug Tool] property.
2.    Set to [Yes] for the following items under the [System] category.
  [Debug the program re-writing the on-chip PROGRAM ROM]
  [Debug the program re-writing the on-chip DATA FLASH]

For e² studio:
From the [Open Debug Configurations] window, go to the [Debugger] tab, then the [Debug Tool Settings] sub tab and set to [Yes] for the following items under the system category.
  [Debug the program re-writing the on-chip PROGRAM ROM]
  [Debug the program re-writing the on-chip DATA FLASH]

For HEW:
In the [System] tab under the [Configuration properties] dialog box that is displayed at the time of starting an emulator, set to [Yes] for the following items under the system category. 
[Debugging the program re-writing the internal PROGRAM ROM] 
[Debugging the program re-writing the internal DATA FLASH]
