What match between V according to frequency and V according to memory?

(Electrical Characteristics)  What is the correlation between the following power-supply Vcc specifications: voltage according to operating frequency (Ex: 2.7V to 5.5V when f(XIN)< 8.4MHz) and voltage according to internal memory type (Ex: 4.0V to 5.5V for Flash MCUs)? In these examples, does the voltage for the Flash Memory version have to be 4.0V to 5.5V all the time, or only during flash memory programming, being operational at 2.7V in MCU mode? [2005/03/01]


In these examples, the Flash Memory version has to operate at 4.0V to 5.5V all the time. It will not operate at 2.7V. The datasheet and user's manual are written based on the Mask version, and when there is a specification difference between that and other versions, it is indicated in the following manner: "For Flash version, 4.0V to 5.5V." Accordingly, in the above examples, the Mask version operates at 2.7V to 5.5V when f(XIN)<8.4MHz, but the Flash version only operates at 4.0V to 5.5V. (#104895)
