How long is the oscillation time for oscillator of R8C/10 to R8C/1B?

Question:

How long is the oscillation stabilization time for the on-chip oscillator of the R8C/10 to R8C/1B Groups?

Answer:

The oscillation stabilization time for the low-speed on-chip oscillator is as follows:

  • 16us (Typ.) at 125kHz.

The oscillation stabilization times for the high-speed on-chip oscillator are as follows:

  • R8C/11, R8C/13 Groups
    250ns (Typ.) at 5V, 25 degrees C, HR1=40h
  • R8C/14 to R8C/1B Groups
    10us (Typ.) at 5V, 25 degrees C, HRA1=default value

The above oscillation stabilization times are only reference values and not guaranteed.
Also, even if the user program is not waiting for the oscillation stabilization time, the program will not overrun. Program execution is suspended until a clock is supplied.
