Can I read the input levels of pins when input a pulse from TAiIN or TBiIN?

Latest Updated:02/27/2012

Question:

When inputting a pulse from the TAiIN or TBiIN pin in the event counter mode, pulse period measurement mode, or pulse width measurement mode, can I read the input level of those pins?

Answer:

Yes, you can. If you set the direction register of the port sharing pins with TAiIN or TBiIN into input mode, you can read the input level of TAiIN or TBiIN pin by reading the port register. However, the input level of the pin needs to fill VIH and VIL of the port. (VIH:"H" input voltage, VIL:"L" input voltage)
